Jessica Snyder Graduated in May 2017 from Walden University with a masters in forensic psychology. She also holds a bachelors of science in psychology from Lake Erie College.

Jessica has been a guide dog handler since June 2008 She is currently working her fourth guide, they have been a team since 2016.

Jessica has been on theNAGDU board since 2014 and as of the 2019 elections was elected to the office of treasurer. She also holds the office of secretary-treasurer for the nfb human service division.

As of 2020 Jessica is also the treasurer of the Pieces Of Me foundation. While Jessica‘s participation with the Peaces Of Me foundation has ended as of the 2024 national Nfb convention, she has also added treasurer of the Blind government employees division to her officer résumé.

 

Jessica has been working for the federal government since 2010. Jessica has been advocating for others prior to joining the nfb in 2011. Jessica enjoys reading (specifically psychological fiction and suspense), skiing, and riding horses in her spare time.
